Helen Bainbridge has worked as an Interior Designer and Art College Lecturer for the past twenty years. Projects have taken her across the U.K., working on diverse projects from corporate boardrooms to country manor houses. She has recently devised this series of courses to inspire and demystify the design process.
The Five Laws of Interior Design - A one day course designed to introduce the beginner to the basic rules of interior design.
1. Define the project brief - have a clear purpose and be aware of any problems.
2. Define the space - measure up and produce scale drawings.
3. Colour theory - keeping to and breaking the rules!
4. Finding products that fit the bill.
5. Create easy to understand visual boards and costings.

Applying the Five Laws - A two day course where you can bring your own project along and complete it under the guidance of a professional. Colour Intensive - A comprehensive one day course looking at colour theory, psychology, pattern and texture. While the course is primarily aimed at Interior Designers, it is also suitable for budding artists. We will be doing lots of practical exercises to increase your confidence in using and mixing colour. It's our intention that you'll never look at colour in quite the same way again!
